Jennifer Lopez Deletes Tweet With Hashtag ‘#AllLivesMatter’ After Backlash
Pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez quickly deleted a tweet Tuesday that contained the hashtag “#AllLivesMatter.”
Eagle-eyed Twitter users managed to get a screenshot of the tweet, which used an image from her performance alongside Lin Manuel-Miranda at a concert in the memory of the victims of the Orlando shooting.

The phrase “all lives matter” is typically used as a rejoinder to the “Black Lives Matter” protest group, making its use controversial among members of the movement. Other public figures such as Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley have apologized for using the term.
Lopez deleted the tweet after receiving angry replies, mostly from African-American users:
