Jimmy Kimmel Reads Poorly Written Negative Comments About His Show

Anyone who works in publishing or entertainment knows all about the delightful surprises that lurk deep within the comments section (we see you, Mediaite commenters).

In the spirit of receiving some pretty goofy — and, admittedly, some very poorly-written — comments critical of a recent segment, Jimmy Kimmel decided to present some of his favorite on his show Tuesday night. The criticisms stemmed from a recent bit where the comedian bashed Sarah Palin‘s stance on climate change, and people took to the Jimmy Kimmel Live social media pages to voice their disapproval in hilarious fashion.

Just as Kimmel often has celebrities appear on his show to read mean Tweets about themselves, the host decided to pull a similar move with content aimed at himself. One such user whose profile photo is simply the Ted Cruz for President logo (poor guy) wrote “Hey Jackass Scientists also thought the world was flat Do us all a big favor reduce man made grass [sic] and shut your yap!!!”

“Global warming? Ha, give me a break. Look at the north and south poles. Seems pretty cold to me,” wrote another “fan” on the show’s YouTube channel.
