Joe Scarborough’s Son Hospitalized With Fractured Skull (UPDATED)
Morning Joe viewers might have noticed that Joe Scarborough was a no-show this Friday morning, and the reason for that is because he’s attending to a family emergency at Bellevue Hospital in New York.
Mika Brzezinski confirmed on the show that Scarborough’s son Andrew was hospitalized last night after a “horrible accident” left him with a fractured skull. Brzezinski said that Andrew Scarborough fell down a flight of stairs, and that she and much of the Morning Joe team were with the elder Scarborough last night as they waited for medical officials to stabilize his son’s condition.
Mika just said @JoeNBC‘s son is hospitalized with a head injury. Hoping he’s OK…

We wish our best to the Scarborough family at this time.

The neurologist asked Andrew questions this morning and ended by asking him his favorite team. He said "The Red Sox, who've won 8 in a row."
