John Hughes, Director of The Breakfast Club, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Dies at 59
TMZ is reporting the director John Hughes has died of an apparent heart attack. The New York Times confirms. Hughes arguably set the gold standard for teenage flicks with such classics as Sixteen Candles The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, as well as writing Home Alone and Pretty in Pink.
