Kasich: I Can Beat Hillary, Trump and Cruz Can’t
In a preview of John Kasich’s Face the Nation sitdown today, the Ohio governor told John Dickerson that he has a better chance against Hillary Clinton than his two Republican rivals do.
Dickerson asked him if he’s getting calls to drop out. Kasich said no, before pivoting to Donald Trump and Ted Cruz and saying, “Why don’t they drop out? I’m the one that can win in the fall.”
When asked if anyone has called for him to drop out of the race, @JohnKasich says "Why don't they drop out?" https://t.co/SzkQ6SBKZ4

He said the GOP needs to learn from past mistakes, saying, “I can win in the fall, they cannot. Now, either we want to beat Hillary Clinton or we don’t.”
So, in other words, don’t expect Kasich to drop out soon…
