Man Texts His Probation Officer Looking for Weed; Things Don’t Go Well

Alvin Cross Jr. of Albany, GA was out on parole when he managed to slip up by sending his probation officer the following text: “You have some weed?”

Naturally, his parole officer did not have weed, because he was his probation officer and that’s not what probation officers do. If he were a drug dealer — or perhaps that rarer cross-breed, the parole officer who deals drugs on the side — then he would have weed.

But instead of bringing weed to Cross’s house, his probation officer brought drug agents to raid Cross’s home, where they also found a bag of frickin’ cocaine.

Cross is going back to prison for a year.
