On Friday, former Alaska governor and Trump stumper Sarah Palin gave what was truly one of the strangest speeches we’ve seen on the campaign trail so far. And given the circus that had unfolded, that’s certainly saying a lot. During the remarks in Milwaukee just days before the Wisconsin state-wide primary, Palin spoke to a room of diners for about twenty minutes and went as unpredictably off script (at least we think) as you could imagine. Even on Morning Joe Monday, Joe Scarborough noted, “Halfway through her speech, did you ask if you stumbled into some bad acid?” and John Heilemann went straight for the gut, you betcha: “Let’s say it was not a fully coherent speech.”
