Is Dancing With the Stars the New GOP Fundraising Machine?
Well if this doesn’t qualify as the slumpiest of summer news slump stories I’m not sure what does (notwithstanding the Montauk Monster!). This morning we told you about Tom Delay‘s foray into the world of reality TV; he’ll be competing on the season’s Dancing With the Stars. Now comes word that Delay has also entered the Twitter fray.

Ten years ago this would have marked the bitter and embarrassing end to a controversial career. These days, judging from DeLay’s website, it may just be the new way to squirm your way back into relevance and up your donor list all at the same time! The new website, which looks an awful lot like a campaign website, encourages you to enter your email address to keep up with all of the Hammer’s dancing moves. What do you want to be you’ll also get to keep up with certain GOP moves at the same time? Major Garrett should investigate!
