Michael Moore: ‘NRA Hates Freedom,’ We Must ‘Demand Strict Gun Control, Free Mental Health Care’

In response to the horrific Friday morning shooting massacre in Newtown, Conn., that left 20 schoolchildren and 7 adults dead, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore took to Twitter to bash the National Rifle Association and call for Americans to demand stricter anti-gun legislation and free mental health care.
After news had broke that children were among the dead in the shooting spree, Moore tweeted that Americans must demand public policy he believes would prevent situations like today’s killings:
He then tweeted a shot at the NRA, the largest gun lobbying organization in America, accusing them of “hating freedom” by opposing stricter controls on gun ownership:
