Prince’s Baltimore Music Video Features News Coverage, Protest Footage
The music video for Prince‘s Baltimore song is out this week, and it contains a lot of footage from the actual Baltimore protests earlier this year.
Singer Eryn Allen Kane, featured on the track, posted the video on YouTube, and there’s protest footage mixed in with lots of the news coverage surrounding the Baltimore protests, as well as footage from Prince’s “Rally 4 Peace” Baltimore concert back in May.
Prince released the protest song a few weeks ago, and it contains lyrics like, “It was a good day/At least a little better than the day in Baltimore” and “Are we gonna see another day?/We’re tired of crying and people dying/Let’s take all the guns away.”
