Read the Full Hobby Lobby Supreme Court Decision

On Monday morning, the Supreme Court handed down its narrow decision in favor of Hobby Lobby on the question of whether companies should be compelled, under the Affordable Care Act, to cover contraception in the health insurance offered to employees.

The Supreme Court decided 5-4 that “closely held” corporations could not be mandated to do such a thing. Justice Samuel Alito wrote the majority decision, with Justice Anthony Kennedy concurring; the four “liberal” justices dissented.
