Rep. Randy Neugebauer’s Baby Killer Comment Not Directly About Bart Stupak

So for awhile there this afternoon there was some debate about who Republican Texas Congressman Randy Neugebauer was directing his comments to when he called the health care bill “a baby killer.” And while we confirmed that Neugebauer had called to apologize to Bart Stupak – the MI Democrat who held out on his “yes” vote until the bill was amended to restrict federal funding on abortions – tonight’s Situation Room gave us some actual video of the Texan explaining his remarks.

So to clarify: The bill is a baby killers, and logically, if you voted for it, you are helping kill babies. But not if you are specifically Stupak, who Neugebauer’s comments weren’t directed towards in any way, except in that whole “blanket condemnation” thing.
