Tom Brady Walks Out on Presser After Being Asked About Trump’s ‘Locker Room Talk’

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady walked out on a press conference Wednesday after being asked a question about Donald Trump — a longtime friend whom the four-time Super Bowl winner personally supports. (Though he hasn’t explicitly stated he supports his presidential candidacy.)

Specifically, Brady was asked about Trump’s terming of his lewd comments as “locker room banter.” Here’s the video of how it played out, via the Boston Herald.

“Tom, you have kids of your own,” a reporter said. “How would you respond if your kids heard Donald Trump’s version of locker room talk?”

“Thank you guys,” Brady said, smiling. “Have a good day.”

Athletes have been speaking out to take issue with Trump’s characterization of his 2005 comments.

Brady offered no such objection. He simply left the room.

CORRECTION — An earlier version of this post mischaracterized Tom Brady’s support for Donald Trump’s candidacy. Brady has stated he supports Trump personally, the two are longtime friends, and he once had a “Make America Great Again” hat on display at his locker. But Brady has not explicitly stated that he supports Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy.
