Trump Goes for the Jugular: Blumenthal Should Take Vietnam Vacation So He Can Say He Was There

President Trump just threw quite the jab at Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) over the latter’s misrepresented history about serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Earlier today, the senator appeared on CNN in order to talk about the political clouds that continue to hover over the Trump Administration. Trump clearly didn’t appreciate that, and he took a pot shot at Blumenthal on Twitter by bringing up Blumenthal’s controversial 2010 episode about the Vietnamese conflict.

…conquests, how brave he was, and it was all a lie. He cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child. Now he judges collusion?

Blumenthal has offered this response to the president’s tweets.
Mr. President: Your bullying hasn’t worked before and it won’t work now. No one is above the law.

Blumenthal is expected to appear with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer this hour, and Mediaite will monitor accordingly.
UPDATE: 7:00 p.m. EST: Here’s the interview.
