WATCH: White House Press Briefing 10/27/17 LIVE STREAM
Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will hold a briefing today to discuss the White House’s latest plans and administrative agenda. The briefing is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EST.
The briefing will most likely touch on the White House and GOP Congress’ efforts to get tax reform done, a day after the House voted to pass a budget resolution, and the President’s announcement on the opioid crisis yesterday.
There was also the news today that the President, as CNN reported, “wanted the gag order lifted on an undercover informant who played a critical role in an FBI investigation into Russian efforts to gain influence in the uranium industry in the United States during the Obama administration.” Trump has been talking about the Uranium One deal several times since a recent report in The Hill brought renewed attention to it.
And, of course, Huckabee Sanders might get at least one question about those JFK files released yesterday and how some, but not all, of them ended up being released.
