‘Me Too’ Madam Compares Eliot Spitzer’s Show to Alleged Bedroom Prowess

2-kristin3

The Drudge Report is running the headline “MADAM: Spitzer as boring on TV as he was in bed…,” which links to a Radar post that has Kristin Davis (no, not that Kristin Davis) comparing Eliot Spitzer‘s new show to his alleged prowess with Davis’ stable of prostitutes (no, not that stable of prostitutes). Davis is [...]

Fox News Panel Prefers Ashley Dupre To Eliot Spitzer As CNN Host

What is it about prostitution that turns everyone into a 12-year-old boy? Today’s Fox News Watch was particularly giggly, as they were discussing the possibility of former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, whose claim to fame is having slept with a prostitute once, getting his own TV show on CNN. After a bout of ineptly-suppressed laughter, Newsweek columnist Ellis Henican suggests a plan so perfectly crazy, it might just work: an Ashley Dupre-hosted show on CNN, instead.

In reflecting on the news that the co-founder of the Family Rights Council had used Rentboy.com to find someone to “lift his luggage,” political satirist Lizz Winstead tweeted: “Gay prostitutes are the unsung heroes of investigative journalism.”

Eliot Spitzer’s Madam Of Five Years To Place New York Gubernatorial Bid

Ashley Dupre may not be the only big winner of the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal. The madam that helped set the governor up with prostitutes for five years, Kristin Davis, is now running for the state’s top executive job herself as a right-leaning independent.

NYT To Break David Paterson News Tomorrow, Resignation To Follow?

DavidPaterson_Flags

Whispers have been building about huge news regarding New York governor David Paterson, who took office after the resignation of Eliot Spitzer. Friday, The Huffington Post noticed the growing media buzz about a forthcoming New York Times scoop, but little other information could be gleaned from the handful of anonymous sources. Now, The Business Insider is reporting exclusively that the news will drop Monday and Governor Paterson’s resignation will follow.

NY Post Reporter Spends A Night With America’s First Legal Male Hooker

front020210

Once upon a time, Mandy Stadtmiller was the dating columnist at the New York Post. These days, she’s gone gonzo — becoming the story by flying to Las Vegas to rendezvous with our great nation’s first legal gigolo, “Markus,” for today’s Post cover story. This ain’t American Gigolo; it’s something far more embarrassing.

Newspaper Rivalry! Daily News Slams NY Post Over Ashley Dupre Column

Yesterday it was the New York Times vs. Wall Street Journal, and today it gets muddier. The Daily News enlisted Joanna Molloy to write a 575-word column slamming the Post for running Ashley Dupre’s new Sunday column. There’s nothing like a tabloid slamming another tabloid over a prostitute!

Ashley Dupre: Former Prostitute, Dating Columnist, Charlie Gibson Warm-Up Act

video

Ashley Dupre made a stop at The View today to talk about her new New York Post column, cheating men and more.

Soon-to-be departing ABC News anchor Charlie Gibson was there too, but he was the 2nd guest (priorities). Also, she poked fun at how little the Post pays (it’s no prostitution, that’s for sure).

Spitzer’s Escort Ashley Dupre Lands Advice Column Gig At New York Post

Well, she did make for some of their best covers and headlines in recent memory — the least the New York Post could do was give Ashley Dupre a job. And so it is! Ashley Dupre: hooker to the governor, woman of the people, sage fountain of wisdom, or advice columnist. “Ask Ashley,” the Post practically demands. “Spitzer’s babe answers all your love-life questions!” Wow.

The Redemption of Eliot Spitzer: Pundit, Professor and… Politician?

Earlier, we noticed that former Governor Eliot Spitzer had mounted a comeback and cracked the Power Grid’s top 5 TV Pundits, putting himself right back in the spotlight. We chalked his most recent surge in face time up to some big money real estate deals and a new scandal involving a former aide, but this explanation overlooks Spitzer’s well-paced and respectable return to form. How has he once again become a man to watch?

Power Grid Roundup: Glenn Beck Soars as Lou Dobbs Nose Dives

As if to confirm that the pre-Labor Day news drought is officially over, there’s been a ton of movement in the Power Grid this past week. Upstarts have risen, giants have fallen, and Eliot Spitzer has broken into the top five TV pundits. What does it even mean, man? Before we answer that, we’d like to introduce a brand-new feature of the Power Grid: story aggregation.

Do You Spitzer? What to Expect in Tomorrow’s New York Post

I’ve been speculating all week what future New York Post Spitzer covers might look like. The Post‘s campaign to get Eliot Spitzer back in office has been impressive. So what’s next? Mediaite has an inside line courtesy of our own Rachel Sklar who was stopped by Post operatives on her way back to our offices!

Spitzer Day Three! Every Woman Is A Hooker At Heart

Yesterday, I speculated that the next stage in the Post‘s week-long campaign to put Eliot Spitzer back in office would be to talk to “close friends” of his “long-suffering” wife Silda Spitzer. I was wrong! Though not by much. Today’s episode is all about that other suffering woman in Spitzer’s life: Ashley Dupre.
