Kate Middleton’s Family Tells Photo Agencies To Back Off

The family of Prince William’s fiancĂ©e, Kate Middleton, is speaking out through The Press Complaints Commission, telling photo agencies to exercise caution when photographing them. Middleton’s mother and sister have apparently been hounded by agency photographers following them on mopeds, and various gawkers trailing them on foot.

California’s New Anti-Paparazzi Law: Bad News For Celeb Weeklies and NYC

A new law in California will allow residents of the state to sue any media outlet that first publishes a picture that violates a “reasonable expectation of privacy” or was taken forcibly. The amendment also introduces civil fines of up to $50,000. What does that mean for the celebrity press and the rest of a star-obsessed nation?

Maria Shriver Supports The First Amendment; Still Hates Paparazzi

Over at Gossip Cop, a new video clip has surfaced of the First Lady of California, Maria Shriver, politely yet effectively dismissing a nagging paparazzo. The cameraman confronts Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife and son at the mall, calling himself a “big fan” before urging that Shriver “talk some sense into her husband.” In a terse response Shriver shoots back, “I think you can do better than this, okay?” and carries on with her day.
