Coulter: GOP Should Hide Their Candidates So Media Can’t ‘Ridicule And Demonize’ Them

Ann Coulter appeared on Fox Business Network’s America’s Nightly Scoreboard with some advice for Republican primary voters. Coulter told them they “need to concentrate on Governors” in the race, because even though she likes Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain a lot, she doesn’t think either have the necessary credentials or experience to go all the way.

Coulter also spent some describing how environmental groups are “fanatics” and wondered “couldn’t we save a lot of money getting rid of the EPA?” Yet her harshest remarks were saved for the mainstream media, as she sensed their claws are already coming out for the Republican frontrunners:

“I would prefer for Republicans to hide who they are running for President and only announce it like a month before the election, so you don’t have time for the entire mainstream media to belittle, attack, ridicule and demonize whomever our candidate is.”

As for her personal pick regarding who should be the Republican candidate, she insisted that many large Republican donors are just like her: “dying for a Governor from New Jersey to jump in around mid-November.” Despite how “lovable” Chris Christie seems to be with many in the media, maybe he’s actually listening to Coulter’s advice and still planning to enter as late as possible?

The headline is a bit misleading don’t you think. We know the MSM will attack any republican candidate in a way they never do, or would a Democrat candidate. How about investigating that little secret of the media. For some of these so-called ‘Journalists’ like George Stephanopoulos, that is their sole purpose for being on the air in the first place.

The bigger story here is the unchecked cost and negative effect the Enviro-Whacko’s and Federal Agency bureaucrats place upon our society without any oversight by elected officials.

Coulter must not have much confidence in the GOP leadership to say something so bizarre. How do the people know who they are voting for if they don’t interact with the media? It’s sort of like they want you to know less about candidates so you like less. There is no reason or obligation for a non DNC candidate to talk to the DNC-Soros owned Media outlets.

News outlets need to understand that their job is not to challenge candidates. Their job is to convey their ideas without question or comment.

You make a few good points here. BHO is the kind of president that wears well. He is handsome, intelligent and well-spoken if not profound. There is a lot to be said for “minding the store” in many pursuits the Presidency included. Clinton was like that. I voted for Bush Uno over Clinton in ’93, but by the time ’97 rolled around, I was ready to pull the lever for the man who would go on to soil Monica’s blue dress in a pathetic onanistic display. Why can’t I be as free with my vote for our beloved BHO ? Back when Clinton was copping cheap feels in the WH, the economy was going great guns. No wonder he had a hard on. The media will demonize them anyway, like they are doing to Palin, eventhough she is not an announced candidate. Just watch any network, and most cables, and how they treat conservatives versus how they treat liberals.
