While introducing former Rep. Allen West (R-FL) on Friday at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference, actor John Ratzenberger remarked that the one-term congressman ought to spread elements of his “gene pool” across the United States.
Ratzenberger is best known as “Cliff” in the long-running sitcom Cheers and has become an outspoken conservative in the last several years. Appearing at the conference this afternoon, he praised West as a “real American” whose personal attributes ought to have a greater presence around the country.
“We should really take something from his gene pool and put it everywhere across this great country,” the actor said during his introductory remarks.
