Chelsea Handler Set to End Show After Contract Expires

According to her new manager Irving Azoff, Chelsea Handler plans to leave E! after her contract expires, drawing an end to Chelsea Lately, her talk show after eight years.

The move follows years of tension between Handler and the channel. Azoff said she had “at least seven suitors,” and suggested she might take the opportunity to get a radio show or another talk show on a digital platform.

“Chelsea has nine months left on her contract and E! will not comment on the future of Chelsea Lately at this time,” an E! spokesperson told Hollywood Reporter.

Handler is earning $9 million annually at E!.
