Chris Matthews Goes After Democratic Senator For Using Hitler Reference
It seems that, in politics or pop culture, whenever a person wants to make a point about how evil someone or something is, all he has to do is evoke the name of one unsavory mustachioed historical figure: Adolf Hitler. And, frankly, it just seems lazy. Chris Matthews agrees and so, while on a break from gleefully doodling mustaches onto Michele Bachmann photos, the Hardball host called out Democratic Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown for evoking both Hitler and Stalin in a recent statement.
You see, Brown gave a speech on the Senator floor, sharing that Hitler, Stalin and probably even Gargamel once went after unions. Not that he’s comparing any of his colleagues to evil dictators or anything like that!
