CNN Reporter Sara Sidner Gets Hit in Head by a Rock on Live TV

CNN reporter Sara Sidner is on the ground in Ferguson tonight, and as she was going through what’s happening on the ground during a live report, a protestor threw a rock and it hit her right in the head.

Sidner was pointing to one of the many buildings on fire in Ferguson tonight and said you can hear explosions, when all of a sudden she was hit by a rock. Jake Tapper asked her if she was okay. Sidner said, “I’m okay, I’ve been hit with much worse in my day.”

She continued to report on what’s happening around her, but Tapper interrupted her and told her to get out of there so they could ensure that she was reporting from a safe place.

Minutes later, when Sidner was back on the air, she attempted to explain what happened, but had some technical difficulties with her camera and was cut off.
