Eyewitness Reports: 15-20 Gunshots At Rep. Gabrielle Giffords Shooting, 2-6 Bodies

CNN has obtained an interview with an eyewitness to the tragic shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who was at a grocery store in Tuscon for a public constituent meet-and-greet event. He reports that a large police force was still on the scene, indicating to him that the gunman may not be in custody yet, though reports conflict on that front.

CNN spoke to Jason Pekau, an employee at a nearby Sprint Store who witnessed the shooting and remained on the scene. Pekau reported that he heard around 15-20 gunshots and believed there to be around six bodies, though he could only see two to three on the ground.
