Fox’s The Five: Will Hollywood Join the Fight Against ISIS?

Here’s some good old Friday cable news analysis for you. Fox’s The Five examined a Funny or Die video starring Michelle Obama to promote healthy eating, and Greg Gutfeld came away with it by asking: so when’s Hollywood gonna tackle ISIS terrorism instead?

Gutfeld called the Michelle Obama video propaganda and said, “Imagine if Hollywood channeled this energy into something else, like death cults currently killing thousands. Not Twizzlers, but terror.” (Gutfeld had a few zingers like that, including “They’d rather focus on broccoli, not beheadings” and “We have a leisure class obsessed with carrots, not the caliphate.”)

And yes, the chyron at the bottom actually did pose the question of whether Hollywood will join the fight against terrorism:

Eric Bolling, on the other hand, thought it best that Hollywood focuses on broccoli rather than beheadings, and suggested if Michelle Obama wants to promote healthy eating, she should try a Sharknado-style snack food movie instead.
