GOP Rep.: Obama ‘Has More Knowledge About Foreign Policy’ Than Trump Does

A Republican congressman on CNN yesterday said that President Obama clearly has more knowledge on foreign policy than Donald Trump does.

Poppy Harlow brought up the president’s recent comment about how little Trump truly understands world affairs, and she asked Dent if he considers Obama stronger on foreign policy than Trump.

Dent, a John Kasich supporter, initially went after Obama’s weakness before admitting “the president has more knowledge about foreign policy than does Donald Trump.”

He said that definitely concerns him, though he made it clear that both have foreign policies he’s not a fan of and want a change from now when allies feel disconnected from the United States.
