Great Moments in Caroling: Jimmy Fallon and Maya Rudolph Sing ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ As The Chipmunks

This one doesn’t need too much background. On Friday’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Maya Rudolph and Jimmy Fallon sang a duet of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” Fallon, however, thought they were going to sing, “The Chipmunk Song.” The result? A fun little intersection of the two classics, complete with Chipmunk voices.

Are those scarfs they’re wearing or this is this the rabbinical version of Chipmunks singing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”?

Was there a vile and disgusting subliminal liberal message hidden in it?

I won’t watch or listen to anything this little puke says anymore!!

If anyone did what this little puke did to Michelle Obama or any other liberal woman they would have been immediately fired!!

Bachmann asked for no one to be fired, silly!  Relax a little and stop thinking everyone’s persecuting you already.  LOL

I must be some kind of humorless Grinch, because I couldn’t even make it through this travesty.  It wouldn’t be worth the pain even if it were funny …

Completely adorable, nothing like Christmas Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Style.  Love him, love him, love him  !

To those on the Right who will post all kinds of snarky comments, I would just like to remind you that it was the BAND LEADER — not Fallon — who picked the ill-advised song to play as Michelle Bachmann strolled on stage. And even before NBC management felt the pressure to issue a statement, to his credit, it was Fallon who manned up and took charge and immediately issued an apology to her.

Now, do I think what happened to her was right? No, of course not. It was in poor taste and it showed a total lack of respect towards her as both a Presidential candidate and as a woman. If I were running NBC, I would have put the Band Leader on “indefinite leave” and cut off his nice Hollywood paycheck, which I’m sure he loves cashing each week. And I would have kept him suspended till I felt he had actually learned a lesson.

That said, the IRONY of the Bachmann situation is that, for all intents and purposes, Fallon does try to run a fairly clean and mainstream show — for example, by doing basically innocent things like this Chipmunk song bit. Truth be told, Fallon does a fairly good job…he’s basically innocuous and sort of “vanilla innocent” at what he does…which is why he’s likely to be the pick by NBC to replace Leno, when he retires. Again!
