Great Moments In Journalism: Drunk Four-Year-Old Boy Steals Presents
We may have a winner for “laugh to keep from crying” story of the year. Local news anchor Kim Chapman called the story possibly as strange as any she’d ever reported, and it’s easy to see why: a four-year-old Tennessee boy was found wearing a girl’s dress with a partially-consumed beer in hand. But wait – there’s more.If that’s not weird enough, the dress was actually one of several Christmas presents the boy stole from a neighbor’s unlocked house in the middle of the night – after escaping from his own house, of course.
But the boy’s motivation for doing all this is the real gut punch. According to his mother, April Wright:
“He wants to get in trouble so he can go to jail because that’s where his daddy is.”
Not exactly the stuff of A Christmas Carol. Here’s the full video:

How did you even find this video?
I honestly don’t even know how we first got our hands on this.
Other great moments on journalism of interest:
Chris Matthews call for a change in the Constitution to make the Senate more democratic (laugh riot).
Harry Smith listens as Algore reads his climategate poem (love-in).
Sarah Palin’s hat makes news; Russia’s claim that Brit scientists falsified/manipulated their climate data doesn’t.
Cute. But at least this fine Murcuhn family is headed in SOME direction!! The dress is fine. It’s only the amount of booze consumed that’s worrisome. These are our future leaders. Be patient.
CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin: Supreme Court Will Not Overrule ‘Deem and Pass’

Bad news for Republicans should they be counting on using the Supreme Court as a last resort to block the Senate health care reform bill. Jeffrey Toobin visited Rick Sanchez today to talk about the chances of success Republicans will have if they try to legally oppose a "deem and pass" vote that would indirectly put the bill on the President's desk, and he didn't waste any time in telling the GOP that, quite simply, it's not going to happen.
CNN’s John King, USA Premieres On Web With Rehearsal Show
There are two very distinct things to note about the way CNN has introduced the upcoming 7pmET show John King, USA to its audience - the show itself and the way it happened. John King hosted a trial run of the program today on CNN.com/live, which gave a sneak peek at what the show will be, but also gave viewers a chance to give their take on the first look.
