Jersey Shore‘s Snooki Visits Weekend Update On SNL Red Cup In Hand

Picture 1Even if her fellow guidos and guidettes in MTV’s Jersey Shore house can’t get her nickname right, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has the brightest shining star thus far thanks to the controversial reality show. Sure, she had to get brutally punched and dance around with her naughty bits blurred, but the Princess of Poughkeepsie was right when she said she’s always the center of attention. Last night, a version of the tiny supernova appeared on Weekend Update during Saturday Night Live with Seth Meyers.

The impression wasn’t exactly spot-on, and she was portrayed by a man, but the Snooki “poof” was on full display… if you can get past the Oompa Loompa tan. Check out the full clip below:

Seriously, this whole “Jersey Shore” facination is a complete fabrication in that the media is slavishly covering it because they insist it is something people give a damn about in the first place. It reminds me of the “movie” years ago “The Real Cancun”. There was blanket coverage in the press about what a vacuous release that was and what it would portend for the future of cinema, and then when it hit theaters absolutely NO ONE went to see it. If there was any way of measuring statistics I would guess the ratio to be 4:1 minimum on the amount of people who know about the show from press stories opposed to those actually watching this mess.
