MSNBC’s Ari Melber Tears Into ‘Juggernaut of Right-Wing Outrage’ Fueling Attacks on FBI
President Trump slammed the FBI again on Twitter today, this time while watching Fox & Friends, and MSNBC’s Ari Melber knocked both the President and the conservative media for the narrative they’re pushing about the FBI and the Mueller probe.
WOW, @foxandfrlends “Dossier is bogus. Clinton Campaign, DNC funded Dossier. FBI CANNOT (after all of this time) VERIFY CLAIMS IN DOSSIER OF RUSSIA/TRUMP COLLUSION. FBI TAINTED.” And they used this Crooked Hillary pile of garbage as the basis for going after the Trump Campaign!

Melber said Trump is close to “crossing the line” his legal team has warned against and played the “Fox News segment that triggered him” about the dossier.
And with more Republican members of Congress saying things like there needs to be a “purge,” he said there’s no question of a “coordinated effort” here.
On the one hand, Melber suggested, this could suggest people close to Trump are “getting nervous” and know something the public doesn’t.
But then there’s option 2:
“This could simply be something like an insurance policy. Mueller may not actually be any close to finding any wrongdoing in the White House––we don’t know––and Republicans may simply want to ratchet up attacks to polarize, to undermine any potential future indictments or findings by Mueller… The evidence for door number two comes from the political-legal-media juggernaut of right-wing outrage.”
Former Congresswoman Donna Edwards knocked Fox News directly in saying they and the President are stepping up attacks on the FBI and Mueller.
