‘None of Your Business’: Weiner Doesn’t Answer Question About Whether He’s Still Sexting

Anthony Weiner is back (sort of), with a new column for Business Insider, and in a new interview with Fusion, he talks about life after the scandals that tanked his career in public office. When he was asked, however, about whether he’s still sexting, Weiner declined to give a straight answer, saying instead that he’s earned the right to tell people “none of your business.”

Weiner talked a bit about politics (his issues with Tesla, defending President Obama from “crazies on the right”), but the focus was mostly on scandal and Weiner’s experience with such things. Jorge Ramos asked Weiner if he has any advice for Chris Christie. Weiner responded, “If you’re turning to me for advice on how to handle your political scandals, you know you’re in bad shape.”

Ramos noted how in every piece of news on Weiner, the sexting scandal is brought up in the very first line. Ramos asked him if he’s been successful in overcoming the scandals, and also asked, “Have you stopped sexting?” Weiner responded, “At this point in my career, I’ve earned my right to say it’s none of your business.”
