Religious Scholar? Donald Trump Claims The Koran ‘Teaches A Very Negative Vibe’

video

So it’s not all about the president’s birth certificate after all. It’s also the Koran. In an interview with CBN, Donald Trump reveals there’s a bit of a religious scholar under all that wonderful hair. Discussing the Muslim holy book, Trump says “The Koran is very interesting. A lot of people say it teaches love and there is a very big group of people who really understand the Koran far better than I do. I’m certainly not an expert to put it mildly, but there’s something there that teaches some very negative vibe.”

Trump suggests that suicide bombings may be motivated by a hatred that derives from the Koran itself:

There‘s a lot of hatred there that’s someplace. Now I don‘t know if that’s from the Koran. I don‘t know if that’s from someplace else but there‘s tremendous hatred out there that I’ve never seen anything like it. So, you have two views. You have the view that the Koran is all about love and then you have the view that the Koran is, that there’s a lot of hate in the Koran.

In the interview, Trump repeats his previous comments that yes, there is a “Muslim problem,” and confirms that he is a Christian. “I believe in God,” he said.

He is just saying what many Americans are thinking. While many of us are afraid to say these things, he’s not and I, for one, love that.

I do hope Trump can turn his attention to the Bible next. Particularly the “He who comes after me, comes before me” paradox. Once that’s setlled, I would be interested to learn of his microvascular surgery technique. By the time that’s all done, his investigators on the ground in Hawaii should have their report finished.

I’m no expert but I do know that a lot of people who study the Koran believe it’s okay to kill people if they draw a picture of Mohammed, burn a Koran, or pretty much any other act that pisses them off. It also apparently teaches that if your daughter dates a non-muslim or wears jeans from The Buckle, it’s okay to kill her too.

Again, I’m no expert, this is just what people who study & follow it have expressed.

If he is a Religious Scholar, maybe I should also pick up the mantle of a Scholar. I did study the Bible and you’d find the so called hatred in the Old Testament, no doubt about it. I challenge all the freaks to prove me wrong, please don’t embarrass yourself, because I do know what I am talking about.

I’d love to tell that little POS (Mahr) the same, but I can’t he is up down there in Cali.

Since when has that standard (look at what someone has done) become the norm? I remember when it WAS the standard… then Obama’s fans decided that didn’t matter, and having a resume wasn’t that important… and now it’s back again?!

Funny how it’s a relative standard.

You really want to claim that the “evil FOX” was responsible for the only bit of real journalism and research about Obama? Is that what you’re saying?

And learning more is always a good thing. But lets not pretend that it’s been a standard applied evenly in the last four years. Obama’s rather limited record of accomplishments, and number of questionable relations were overlooked by almost everyone in the media, and were never really scrutinized or questioned. Obama was elected via his personalitiy and charm, not his resume.

You have Fox News to blame if that message they continued to spread for months about BO, didn’t get through. I guess ratings don’t really matter then. Just like Limbaugh was railing against McCain in the Republican Primary, yet his loud noise wasn’t enough to drop McCain.

What happened to being no 1, and how the others are failures. Surely, they should be proud to disseminate the ‘news’ I thought they owned the news during the ACORN scandal, so reading into your complain about not smearing BO enough, it is ok when Fox got through with ACORN, but it is someone else fault for not picking up the Rev Wright issue. Interesting, I see your lack of logic.

To the liberals out there, how is Trump being bigoted?

There are millions of Muslims in the world who USE THE KORAN to justify hatred and murder. Religion (any and all religions) are not a ‘thing’, but rather they are a ‘way of life’ or an ‘ideology.’ In today’s world, there are many Muslims (albeit a minority of the world’s total # of Muslims) that ‘live a life’ of hatred and ‘believe’ murder is justified because they interpret the Koran that way.

Isn’t this obvious? You just have to look at what goes on in the middle-east with the ‘Death to America’ crowd. It’s not bigoted, it’s true. I can only be wrong if one lets political correctness blind their world view.

hahahahahaha… look what the dumbest of the dumb are doing now, airing out their ignorance on forums like mediaite.com! Hello there, Colorado C. Please promise us you won’t hurt yourself (e.g. best for you to stay away from sharp utensils, etc.).

Now, on to those of us who actually have something to say: The problem with Trump pounding the drum on the birther story and now offering his willingly uninformed opinion on the Koran is not that he has opinions or even controversial ones. It’s that he and some who celebrate him for it (for example, Palin) somehow think that this kind of approach to issues is even remotely presidential.

First of all, both liberals and conservatives — at least, the thinking ones in each of these parties — would agree that we have many more serious and immediate issues to address. It was criminal in 2004 that we decided an election based essentially on marriage rights and lies about a decorated Vietnam vet, in the midst of war, record spending, vast political divide and economic instability. And here we are again, with someone trying to influence the choice of who should lead the free world, based on the idiotic birther argument or “bad vibes” that a guy with bad hair gets from a book that he himself admits he hasn’t read.

Second, even if it’s true that the Koran and Islam is problematic — of which, yes, we have lots of evidence that suggests exactly that — what kind of ass thinks that a presidential candidate furthers the state of international security by blabbering on oblivious to diplomacy? Trump is that ass, and he’ll be gone soon enough. But in the interim, it would be nice if didn’t insist on getting up there and inflicting damage solely for his own amusement.

Do you not see the hypocrisy? You want some investigation, but only for those whom disagree with you. Not very fair, huh?

Seems like the Left wants to run and hide and play patty cake with the same people who’s so-called religious book tells them to murder us because we are Infidels. Actually, the koran is quite negative. And the more violent and intolerant passages are the latter ones (i.e. the ones that were written later in mohammed’s life). The problem is, according to islamic scholars, these later passages abrogate the earlier ones. So, you see, islam really is a violent and intolerant death cult.

I really dislike Obimbo agenda, and I’m not hiding that fact. He’s inept, I don’t care what religion he belongs to. Obimbo is a socialist and nothing the Obimbo apologists say can hide that fact. If your accusing Trump of word twisting maybe you’d better start paying a little more attention to what Bimbo is actually saying, and not what you think he’s saying. Few people hate Obimbo. Most people hate what he’s about, and how he’s going about it.
