Sen. Lindsey Graham: GOP Made Some “Poor Choices” In Senate Candidates

In a speech on the Senate floor on Saturday, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham admitted that Republicans could have won more Senate seats in last month’s elections, but didn’t because “we made some pretty poor choices when it came to candidates,” he said of the GOP. Presumably, he was referring to some of the larger Republican losses last November, such as Christine O’Donnell in Delaware, Sharron Angle in Nevada, and Ken Buck in Colorado.

Lindsey needs to buy a countdown clock and start it ticking today!

    He is a goner!

In the underbelly of the US Senate (specifically, at the end of the lower intestine) is where we find THE FRACKING-FIVE despicable, rino traitors who will continue to support d-crat socialist issues, and everybody knows who they are: AMNESTY-JOHN mccain, scott brown, collins, snowe and graham.

That’s the “hit list” for all American patriots to follow in future elections.

Did he mention that he and Mitch McConnell are among the poor choices?

  • The_Reasonable_Lib

Looks like some people are angry at Lindsey for being honest.

No, we’re mad at Lindsey for being a pussy mostly. An appeasing compliant pussy. He will be Senatorial roadkill next time around as well, too bad it’s so fricking far off, but we’re a patient group and we will remove his ass.

Lindsy Graham is still in the closet and is afraid to come out. In time I think he will, maybe then he will become a better person.

Hey Lindsey, guess what? The RNC doesn’t get to choose candidates; the voters do, in the primaries. If you want more establishment RINOs like you in the Senate then you and the RNC will just have to find some who are un-slimy enough for the voters to stomach. Here’s a prediction for you: in 2012 the voters will pick even more distasteful-to-you candidates in the primaries, including one that will ring your chimes in South Carolina.

I just love the way Senator Graham makes the Tea PartiersKrap their Khakis. You are also so scared of him. Too bad. If Gramps had selected the Graham Kracker instead of the Drop Out Governor in 2008, he’d probably be president today.

    Murkowksi-Graham 2012!

I didn’t know about that. Conjoined piles?

  • Elaine B

Hey Calvin, If anyone and I really do mean anyone but Glenn Beck said that I would listen, But Glenn Beck! geese I really have to put EVERYTHING he says through a strainer to get all the crap out.

But like I said, I do think if Lindsey came out of the closet he would be a much happier and adjusted person. Right now he all over the place with his comments and it changes regularly.

  • btimsah

Progressives, Moderates and Libertarians, OH MY!

  • Socialist

Lindsey Graham is just another aristocratic Republican trying to act tough so he can survive the primaries in 2012… I am not surprised by this..

  • Just4thefax

Fact: He’s the Juan Williams of the GOP. He is used to go on MSMBC to be a yes man then it’s vote no to all liberals BS!

  • Snidely

Down here in the South, we say that what you find in the middle-of-the-road are yellow stripes and dead skunks (or road kill, speaker’s choice).

  • timcajun

Graham a liberal, even the teas eat their own, if not a tea, he is far right! The teas had those three crazy wackos, which were very bad choices. Instead of owning it, the teas go deeper and deeper, with the craziness, if you don’t hate with us, we’ll hate against you!( even if it is bs)

Sen. Lindsey Graham: GOP Made Some “Poor Choices” In Senate Candidates

The only poor choices they made were the ones that lost their elections. The worst Republican is better than the best Democrat.

And NO, I am NOT a Republican.

Early in his career I had high hopes for Graham, but he’s weaseled too many times–especially on the issue of granting amnest to CRIMINAL (that is, those who have crossed the US border illegally) aliens.

Como c’est va paisan? You asked, I answer: I am a disenfranchised independent. I don’t fully embrace any recognized party or movement. I tend to vote republican because I can’t see any redeeming virtues in the democratic philosophy–the democrats lost their values sometimes in the ’30s when they were taken over by the progressives and communists. Now, the democrats are controlled by the lunatic fringe. The republicans are getting to the point where they are also controlled by a different set of the lunatic fringe. It’s all a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils that also has a chance of winning elections. Your implication that you are a cajun (and assuming that you are somewhere in Louisiana), I would ask whether you think H. P. Long and Edwin Edwards are the kind of democrats you can respect. Yeah, I understand H.P. Long united the cajuns and he’s got a bridge named after him that I have crossed many times, but if you read the full history, Long and Edwards (along with a good many other democrats in your state), have screwed you over big time. Even now, the democrats have messed over the people of Louisiana insofar as oil exploration had been banned. By the way, I liked Dave Treen, he was the best Louisiana had to offer until Jindal came along.

And NO, I don’t live in Louisiana.
