WATCH: Anti-Redskins Ad to Air During NBA Finals

The ongoing fight to force the NFL to change the name of the Washington Redskins franchise will reach a large number of sports fans Tuesday night when the ad below airs during Game 3 of the NBA Finals in seven major markets. According to The Washington Post, the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation will pay to show the 60-second spot on ABC in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Sacramento, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. The same ad ran in Miami during halftime of Game 2 Sunday night.

Back in January, the National Congress of American Indians posted a two minute version of the ad to YouTube, writing “Watch the #BigGame commercial the NFL would never air.” The video has nearly two million views less than five months later.
