I don’t know whose idea it was to give this man the job without checking his appropriate credentials. Sitting next to Michael Johnson, one of the greatest athletes, the world has ever seen, he looks ridiculous…

I would say, based on what we saw here he is a professional to even be able to stay as calm as he did in this most unfortunate of circumstance.

If he had been afforded the use of a teleprompter he easily would have aced the assignment, no one being the wiser to the fact he isn’t a sports guy.

2) If you complain about affirmative action. There are many presenters who have their failures exposed on youtube. However, when it is a black presenter, it is affirmative action.

I don’t think he did so bad as to be taken off air after only a few days, before he had a chance. He should have been given at least two weeks. He spoke clearly enough but just seemed to be a little tense.

The point of the comment is that liberal-owned forums tend to lump blacks, Hispanics and Latinos into a category called “people of color” while claiming to champion their causes. In your infinite wisdom you were able to eliminate all other possibilities, that he may have been hired because it was easier for the company to hire from within, that maybe the station liked his performance over the past two years on the gadget show and felt he was ready for a promotion, that perhaps first day jitters are getting in the way of him doing what he is capable of doing, or any other of a multitude of possibilities, and arrive at the conclusion that this is the perfect example of a color quota hire. Then your paranoid, bigoted, mind can’t reconcile the image you have of mediaite with the fact that they played this clip of a black man messing up. Could it be that you were wrong about them? No, no. It can’t be that, right Felix? It’s likely that they didn’t think you would read that deeply into something that was posted for a few laughs. You’re going to start questioning everything you know about the world the second you see a white person mess up on their job.
