Killing England: Bill O’Reilly Announces First New Book Since Leaving Fox News

Bill O’Reilly today announced yet another upcoming installment in his Killing series of books––his first since his ousting from Fox News just last month.

O’Reilly––who is now primarily doing daily No Spin News podcasts and weekly appearances on Glenn Beck‘s radio program––made the announcement on Twitter earlier this afternoon:

The former Fox News star parted ways with the network after reporting on multiple allegations of sexual harassment against him led to an advertiser boycott.

An AP interview with O’Reilly about Killing England does address some of that, with him saying Fox made a “business decision” and even weighing in on pressure now for advertisers to pull out of Sean Hannity‘s show after he pushed the Seth Rich murder conspiracy:

O’Reilly thinks Hannity will stay on with Fox.

“It’s the same thing, the far left going after him, trying to get him off the air,” O’Reilly said. “I think Hannity will survive because I don’t know if Fox can handle another shake-up like that.”

He also said, regarding the allegations against him, “Allegations are not facts. Nobody’s searching for the truth anymore.”

The AP’s report also makes it clear that despite those allegations, O’Reilly’s publisher is still standing by him:

Holt President and publisher Stephen Rubin has worked with O’Reilly on virtually all of his books and has defended him before, including when critics challenged the accuracy of “Killing Kennedy” and other works.

“We are totally committed to Bill, long-term. Why wouldn’t we be?” Rubin said. “We have created the most successful adult nonfiction franchise in recent publishing history and we are thrilled to continue it.”

O’Reilly’s last book, Old School, debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list last month.
