WATCH: Nikki Poisons Kids With Green Smoothie on Food Network Star

On this week’s 90-minute installment of Food Network Star, contestants were faced with the challenge of delivering a live cooking special with boisterous co-host and FNS alum Guy Fieri. Teams Giada, Alton, and Bobby had to deliver cooking demos, on the clock, alongside Guy, and each with a different theme. In spite of Nikki‘s disastrous kale and spinach smoothie, Team Bobby was safe from elimination with their kid-friendly themed presentation. Team Giada, largely in thanks to Ippy‘s breakout performance, rocked their game-day demo, while Team Alton disappointed when they should have had their Halloween-themed demo in the bag. Alton’s whole team had to face The Producer’s Challenge.

The network charged them with the task of throwing darts at a map of the US to determine which area they had to represent in their final presentation. In The Pitch Room, it came down to Judson’s fakey showmanship and Marty’s inability to edit, yet again, that landed them in the bottom two. Ultimately, Judson was sent home for failing to work his weight loss story into his POV sooner. (Ahem. Called it.)
