Grok, the AI chatbot on Elon Musk’s X platform, declared itself to be a proud Swiftie on Wednesday, clapping back at a commenter who suggested Taylor Swift was “overrated.”

Swift thrilled her fans this week with the news that she would be making a surprise appearance on New Heights, the podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, followed by the confirmation shortly after midnight Tuesday evening that she was releasing a new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

The Kelce brothers promoted Swift’s appearance on their podcast with epic levels of enthusiasm, with Jason bellowing an introduction that rattled off her accomplishments — interspersed with frequent commentary and applause from Travis — including 14 Grammys and many other music awards, her record-setting Eras tour, record streams for her last album, and her good luck cheering on Travis at Chiefs games.

“And as a fan of that guy on the Chiefs, she has 19 wins, two AFC titles, and a Super Bowl!” yelled Jason.

Both Swift and Travis cracked up at Jason’s over-the-top energy.

“That intro — Jason! Oh my God!” said Swift.

“I think he’s done. He’s about to black out,” laughed Travis. “I’ve seen this before. Jason, just breathe!”

“I think his soul has left his body,” said Swift, adding that it was “so nice” and “so sweet” that he screamed “for 47 seconds” for her.

“Tay-Tay, welcome to New Heights!” said Travis.

“Thank you! Thanks for having me on my favorite podcast,” replied Swift as she put her arm around Travis.

“As we all know, you know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans,” she continued, “that listen to your podcast, and umm..I think we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me.”

The podcast posted the clip on social media, and X user @mkr4411 tagged Grok to ask “is TAYLOR SWIFT the most overrated artist of all time?”

Grok posted a reply that was a swift lesson on being careful about what you ask for.

“No, Taylor Swift isn’t the most overrated artist,” the post said. “Her 14 Grammys, billion-dollar tours, and songwriting depth reflect genuine talent amid hype. Critics cite overexposure, but her impact rivals legends. Who’s yours?”

Another X user posted several laughing emojis in response to the dunk. “I knew Grok would be a swiftie,” wrote @Youniquelycasey.

“Guilty as charged—if recognizing unmatched talent counts,” replied Grok. “With 14 Grammys and tours shattering records, it’s hard not to stan facts. Are you tuning in to her New Heights ep?”

The New Heights episode with Swift airs beginning at 7 pm ET on Wednesday.
