Sydney Sweeney Revealed to Be Registered Republican — MAGA Influencers Celebrate

Fresh off the backlash from the Left about an American Eagle ad that touted her “good jeans,” Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has been reported to be a registered Republican — a revelation which has triggered further outrage from liberal influencers, and celebration from MAGA influencers.
Multiple outlets confirmed, over the weekend, that Sweeney is a registered Republican in the state of Florida, and has been since 2024.
Sweeney has become something of a darling in conservative circles over the past week — as some on the left have accused the ad of promoting eugenics by alluding to “good genes.”
“My political advice to the Democrats is: continue to tell everybody who thinks Sydney Sweeney is attractive is a Nazi,” Vice President JD Vance told the Ruthless podcast on Thursday.
American Eagle defended the ad in a statement.
“Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans’ is and always was about the jeans,” the statement read. “Her jeans. Her story. We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.”
Now, the reports of Sweeney’s party affiliation have only enhanced her standing among MAGA influencers — who are celebrating the news on social media.
