WATCH: Timothée Chalamet Breaks Up During Bonkers SNL Sketch — Gets Spanked By Keenan Thompson

Actor Timothée Chalamet broke up laughing during a bonkers Saturday Night Live sketch in which he portrayed a White rapper who earns a spanking from Keenan Thompson.

Saturday Night Live opened this week with James Austin Johnson’s version of former President Donald Trump crashing the GOP debate stage to deliver brutal roasts of the candidates onstage.

Timothée Chalamet was the guest host on this week’s edition of Saturday Night Live. Boygenius was/were the musical guest.

Kenan Thompson portrayed moderator Lester Holt, but in another sketch with Chalamet, Thompson portrayed Cornel West participating in a panel at the Museum of Hip-Hop.

Chalamet portrayed Smokecheddadaassgetta, a White rapper whose streaming hit makes him “technically the most successful hip-hop artist of all time.”

As Chalamet’s character displays complete ignorance of hip-hop history, the panel gets more outraged — until Keenan’s West loses it and spanks Chalamet just as he loses it laughing in the middle of the bit:

MARY J. BLIGE: Excuse me. I’m sorry. No disrespect to Dr. West, but I think it was a kid from Bed-Stuy who sold 20 million records.

SMOKECHEDDADAASSGETTA: So he a flop.

THOMPSON/WEST: You might want to watch yourself, brother.

SMOKECHEDDADAASSGETTA: But I’m just saying, my new solo joined in a trillion streams in two days on SoundClouds.

THOMPSON/WEST: T-t-t-t-trillion?

SMOKECHEDDADAASSGETTA: Yeah. It’s a smart one, too. It’s actually a critique of capalism.

THOMPSON/WEST: I think you mean capitalism.

SMOKECHEDDADAASSGETTA: Yeah, capalism. Everybody capping all the time. I like it. My new joint is called ‘Cling Cling Cling’. Buss it!

Man, you cappin! Oh ah crinkling thinking oh, you cappin! Drip splash water, drip splash splash drip water splash (laughs)

THOMPSON/WEST: NO! NO! NO! (Spanks Chalamet) You do not do that, young man!
