Chef Jamie Oliver’s London Home Burglarized
On Oct. 2, Jamie Oliver’s London home was burglarized. Luckily for Oliver and his family, they were away during the break-in.
So far reports state that only electrical property was stolen from the Primrose Hill estate. One of Oliver’s spokesman stated:
“There was a break-in at the basement next to Jamie’s main house – he also owns the basement – and two electrical items were stolen. Nothing was ‘ransacked’ [as had been reported]. There’s no indication that ‘thousands of pounds-worth’ of goods were taken. None of the family were in the house at the time. And all this happened almost two weeks ago now.”
The Olivers did a good job keeping the break-in under wraps. The home invasion occurred earlier this month, but the news just broke of the incident this week.
His home being burglarized wasn’t enough to keep the celebrity chef from attending to business. Jamie Oliver was seen on set filming Jaime’s Food Fight Club, along side actor Orlando Bloom hours after the news of the break-in hit media headlines.
No arrests have been made at this time. The home invasion is still under investigation.
