Chef Wins Tribeca Film Festival’s Narrative Award for Best Feature
A win for Jon Favreau, Roy Choi, and all of Chef!
Reports the Los Angeles Times, Chef took home the Narrative Award for best feature at the Tribeca Film Festival, which is really the Heineken Audience Award. (The other award was given to a Kickstarter film called Keep On Keepin’ On, which, sidenote, sounds ridiculously good.) Chef will be screened on Sunday as part of its big win, and Favreau will donate his $25,000 cash award to a New York City food organization City Harvest.
So, we guess those weird negative first reviews don’t mean shit now, huh?
So honored. Thank you to #TFF2014 RT @THR: #Tribeca: @Jon_Favreau's 'Chef,' 'Keep on Keepin' On' Win Audience Awards http://t.co/X9FqLQpAll
