Luckily, The Taste’s biggest Hot Mess We Can’t Help But Watch competition (NBC’s Smash, duh) premieres in the timeslot right after them, otherwise, we have a sinking feeling Nigella and Co. wouldn’t be able to recover from their sophomore slump.

Bonus: Gabrielle Hamilton of Prune is making an appearing on tonight’s episode to guest-mentor the now fully formed teams. Anthony Bourdain, for one, is super excited about it. (And apparently he thinks Blood, Bones, and Butter is the #bestchefmemoir? Who knew? We wonder what he thinks about the Gwyneth Paltrow casting choice…)
