WATCH: Chefs Josh Capon And Marc Murphy Compete In Burger Relay
Rachael Ray celebrated the June 4th launch of The Book of Burger today with a whole 60 minute show dedicated to the mighty meatwich. Of course, you can’t do the burger justice without adequate representation from Food and Wine Burger Bash regulars. Marc Murphy, executive chef of Landmarc and Ditch Plains, and Josh Capon, exec chef at Lure Fishbar and Burger and Barrel Wine Pub, stopped by to complete a relay race demo of six burger toppings in six minutes.
Marc contributes aleppo aioli with lemon and capers, chipotle and scallion ketchup, and whipped gorgonzola with toasted pine nuts, while Josh offers up his signature caramelized onion and bacon jam, “avocado relish” (aka, guacamole), and homemade tzatziki sauce.
