WATCH: Nigella Lawson’s Assistants Speak Out in First TV Appearance Since Trial

The Grillo Sisters gave an interview on British television this morning in their first appearance since being acquitted for fraud
in a very public suit brought by their employers, Nigella Lawson and Charles Saatchi, last month.

“There are no winners in this situation,” they solemnly admitted in the interview, adding, “It’s mortifying for her, it’s mortifying for us, it’s mortifying for everybody.”

(Okay, but could it be more mortifying for Charles Saatchi, please? That would be great for us.)

Answering the same thing at the same time and finishing each other’s sentences certainly lends an aura of authenticity to their story, and they acknowledged that Nigella was “very brave,” but stated firmly that they “didn’t feel guilty.”
