WATCH: Robert Irvine Reveals Why He Shaves His Arms

 

While Kathy Lee and Hoda Kotb are still shooting The Fourth Hour of The Today Show stateside in segments (not at all bitterly) titled “Kathy and Hoda: NOT in London,” at least they still have British-accented chefs to import in the hopes of making them feel like they’re all part of the Olympics party. Robert Irvine stopped by to demo some fish ‘n’ chips for the festively-dressed ladies (Sue Sylvester called; she wants her track suits back), and, while touting the health benefits of using grapeseed oil over olive oil, Robert also revealed the bizarre reason he shaves his arms.

What’s even more bizarre is that Kathy Lee asked him the question in the first place, and then felt the need to repeat it on-camera so that we at home were in the loop. Then she took part in a fish battering relay with Hoda.

Oh, yeah, in the spirit of The Olympics, Robert set up the anchors with a fish-battering relay, but it wasn’t just any race! The filets had to be accurately battered and actually fryable. Hoda took gold, but the real prize here is Robert Irvine wearing a Team Hoda muscle tee, no?
