George Santos Shatters Interviewer Ziwe When Asked ‘What Could We Do to Get You to Go Away?’

Expelled former Rep. George Santos (R-NY) and current Cameo icon is not going away until everyone stops inviting him places. At least that’s what he told Ziwe during their much-hyped interview.

Approached from a satirical standpoint, Ziwe asks Santos if he, like Tinkerbell, would “disappear” if everyone stopped “clapping” for him. He said, “No.” That led her to ask him point blank: “What could we do to get you to go away?”

And his response was brutally, brutally on point: “Stop inviting me into your gigs.”

Going by the moment of silence that followed, Ziwe knew she’d been had. But she pressed on, asking him about possible future George Santos appearances (Dancing with the Stars: “No”; RuPaul’s Drag Race: “Haven’t got that invite yet. I’d love to go read a bitch.”) finally concluding: “The lesson is to stop inviting you places.”

To which Santos purred: “But you can’t. Because people want the content.”

Santos may have won that round, but Ziwe jabbed back when she asked Santos: “What excites you most about going to prison?” That was a “below the belt” thing to say, according to Santos, but she only twisted the grip when she asked him: “Do you like the color orange?”

Santos: Really?

Ziwe: You tell me! I don’t know enough about you.

Santos: Judge, jury, and executioner?
