‘Mind-Blown’: Nurse Who ‘Loved’ Charlie Kirk Alleges She Was Suspended For Calling Out Doctor Who Celebrating Killing
A New Jersey nurse told Fox News she was “mind-blown” when she witnessed a doctor she said was openly “celebrating” the murder of Charlie Kirk last week — leading her to call the doc out on her Instagram account, which was a move that resulted in her being suspended without pay, she claims.
Lexi Kuenzle shared the wild story during an appearance on Fox & Friends on Monday morning. The nurse told co-host Brian Kilmeade she walked into the nurse’s station at Englewood Health right after learning the 31-year-old conservative influencer had been shot and killed on Sept. 10.
Kuenzle said she was shocked when a man she did not know in the room was suddenly thrilled with the news.
“He was standing there, celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk, saying how he deserved it, he hated Charlie Kirk, and he had it coming to him,” Kuenzle said.
Right after, she looked at the man’s badge and saw it identified him as a doctor.
“I looked down at his badge, it says ‘doctor.’ I said ‘You’re a doctor?’ How are you saying this, as a doctor, that someone deserved to die?’ I mean, to me, I was just mind-blown,” she said.
Kuenzle said she was especially disgusted by what she said was the doctor’s giddiness, considering she “loved” Kirk and was a “big fan.” She told Kilmeade that Kirk was the first major account she retweeted on X, then known as Twitter, in 2018.
Her appearance on Fox News comes a few days after Kuenzle filed a lawsuit in Bergen County Superior Court against the hospital and the doctor she claimed celebrated Kirk’s slaying, Dr. Matthew Jung. The 33-year-old nurse claimed she was wrongly suspended for formally complaining about the incident, as well as for posting about it on her personal Instagram account. She is seeking unspecified damages.
Englewood Health, in a statement Fox News shared during its segment, said the doctor had also been suspended as it completes a “thorough and fair investigation.”
