Alex Jones Goes Scorched Earth on Trump’s DOJ in Tucker Carlson Interview — Torches ‘Lazy’ Bondi, ‘Compromised’ Patel and ‘Big Baby’ Bongino
Far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones torched several of the Trump administration’s senior law enforcement officials during a new interview with Tucker Carlson, calling Attorney General Pam Bondi “lazy,” FBI Director Kash Patel “compromised,” and his deputy, Dan Bongino, a “big baby.”
Jones’s comments — made during an episode of The Tucker Carlson Show published on Monday, one day before the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal from Jones about the nearly $1.5 billion he’s been ordered to pay the families of, and one first responder to, the Sandy Hook school shooting — came during a discussion about Jones’s legal troubles.
“So this is just totally grotesque. And this is not the free market at work, this is NGOs, plus law firms, plus the U.S. government destroying a private citizen for opposing the political agenda of the people in charge. So this is like exactly what you can’t have in your country,” mused Carlson.
“Could — simple question to you — could the current Department of Justice shut this down?” he then asked Jones.
Jones replied in the affirmative but asserted that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has been standing in the way of his vindication.
After a few minutes more on the topic, Jones brought the conversation around to the upper echelon of the DOJ and FBI.
“I’ll go back to Todd Blanche, Todd Blanche’s been a dyed-in-the-wool top Democrat, he lost all the cases for Trump criminally. And, from what I’ve heard, Bondi’s not bad, she’s just lazy. Bongino’s emotional and a big baby. You know, Patel is compromised, and it’s just so sad. He should have Ken Paxton in there. They brought in the, uh Missouri AG as the new deputy FBI-, you know, as soon as Bongino leaves,” said Jones. “And Bongino should stop worrying about his PR and his, how he looks, and worry more about the future of the country here. And put it all on the line, actually, instead of being a hothead. Bongino, I think’s a good guy. But Patel, and you know Bondi, these are just TV heads. These are just people that are here to be celebrities, in my view, and I’m just saying, and Todd Blanche is a Democrat Party operative, who I think, I think he’s Bill Barr 2.0.”
