AOC Mocks ‘Triggered’ Libs of TikTok For Calling Out Inauguration Snub: ‘I Don’t Celebrate Rapists!’
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) mocked Libs of TikTok’s Chaya Raichik as “triggered” after the influencer called on President-elect Donald Trump to sue the Democrat over her characterization of the incoming president as a “rapist.”
Ocasio-Cortez posted to Instagram Sunday visibly frustrated with journalists repeatedly asking her whether she would attend Trump’s inauguration ceremony on Monday to which she offered a short reply.
“Let me make myself clear,” the congresswoman said. “I don’t celebrate rapists. So, no, I am not going to the inauguration tomorrow.”
Posting the clip to X late Sunday, Raichik slammed the Democrat: “Another person Trump should sue.”
Ocasio-Cortez responded soon afterward, mocking and taunting the conservative influencer.
The call to sue comes after ABC News agreed in December to pay Trump $15 million in response to a defamation lawsuit over false statements made by the network’s anchor, George Stephanopoulos.
During a March 10 interview, Stephanopoulos repeatedly claimed Trump had been found “liable for rape” while questioning a congresswoman about her support for the president-elect. This followed a civil case verdict in which a jury found Trump liable for “sexual abuse,” a term with a specific legal meaning under New York law.
