BREAKING: Biden Accepts CNN Invite for Debate with Trump NEXT MONTH
President Joe Biden accepted an invitation to a debate with Donald Trump on Wednesday morning just hours after Biden laid out the conditions under which he would participate in such a forum.
“I’ve received and accepted an invitation from @CNN for a debate on June 27th. Over to you, Donald. As you said: anywhere, any time, any place,” announced Biden on X.

CNN is one of just four outlets that the Biden campaign has identified as being an acceptable host, with the others being CBS News, ABC News and Telemundo.
Trump responded to Biden’s initial statement challenging Trump to two debates on Wednesday by agreeing to participate in two debates in June and September, but he also argued that there should be “more than two debates.”
“Just tell me when, I’ll be there. ‘Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!'” wrote Trump.
CNN’s Arlette Saenz provided more details about the proposed debate on air, musing that “the ball will be in Trump’s court to decide whether they will accept this invitation as well from CNN for a debate on June 27.”
